I have a challenge for all you pet owning writers. Write me a review or promo for one of your books, written from the point of view of your pet. You can either send it to me at ERECmail at gmail.com, or blog it and send me a link. If you blog for EREC please post it here! Pictures of the pet reading the book are a appreciated :)
The best reviews (as chosen by the EREC-Team) in the categories of cat, dog and other animal will get a pet treat gift basket--winners will be chosen once I have at least three entries in each category. If you intend to send an entry let me know and I will be sure to wait until it is in.

oooh, considering pusspussmaomao (aka meaowmies, booboo's, or meaowmiecat) tries her damndest to sit on, in, around or over me at every opportunity when I'm on the computer I'll see what I can do.
From what I hear Ripley might be more ammenable to sitting still for a photo :)
I suspect my puppy may promo something in print as I wouldn't trust him near my laptop!
(No he isn't entering the contest although he seems to be under the impression the prizes are for him)

Sadly, we're a pet-free household...though I have three sons who sometimes act like wild animals :)

My dog Millie has views on everything, and her sister Eliza is a connoiseur of fine writing, bonios and cocktail sausages...
Umm, I'm not sure my fish reads books. I can try to get my cat to do something. If I have time I'll do it! LOL
This sounds like a lot of fun and very creative. Too bad I'm not a pet owner LOL. I can't wait to see what some you all come up with.
I just realised - kiddo brought a book home from the library on the weekend "We are the Cat - life through the eyes of the royal feline"
It's all written in the voice of the cat. It's quite funny.
