Focus on the Happy-ometer--veinglory

As a reminder, ERECsite collects not only sales figures but answers to the question: I am satisfied with the performance of my publisher [name of publisher] -- Y/N. The 'Happy-ometer' is the percentage of authors who reply with the "Y". (veinglory at gmail.com).

Happy-omoter figures so far:Amber Quill: 100%
Ellora's Cave: 87%
Liquid Silver Books: 100%
Loose Id: 91%
Samhain: 88%

Is there any way to give the number of authors reporting?

I'd be interested in a bit more detail on how the respondents are working out their happiness. It's easy for newbie writers to fall in love with their publishers just because they're publishing their work! Are these established, experienced writers and are they happy with the total, overall service including sales, editing, marketing etc etc.

Just my 2c worth... ;)

Also curious as to where the unhappiness lies...? But glad to hear Liquid Silver has a 100% rating...I just signed with them this week! :-)

I agree with Fiona. Newbies who just signed their first shiny contract of course are thrilled, we all were that first time. I'd like to see info on how long those happy authors have been with the publishers in question. An opinion made a year after is far more centered than one made at the bright beginning.
