A quick glance at the excerpts show that the editing sucks. Ho-hum.
I noticed Sable Grey had a book there. Isn't she the owner of Cobblestone? I'm confused.

When I can't make it 30 words into the very first excerpt on the very first page without finding a sentence so poorly edited as to be incomprehensible...yeah. That kind of thing is inexcusable. *failstamps*

@anonymous After some thought, I think it's meant to be a ghost speaking? There's no indication it's dialogue, though, whether in the mind or aloud. It's just stuck amidst the prose as if it is some omnipresent narrator.
No need to be confused. As you well know I was a writer long before I was a publisher and have not stopped my writing career just because we stared Cobblestone Press - just as you can be both writer and artist.
I also have books at Liquid Silver Books, Midnight Showcase, Ellora's Cave, and have just been accepted at Total E Bound. I'm not sure what Cobblestone Press has to do with where I publish my own writing.
