*sigh* I'm often complaining when new pubs have no or vague "About Us" sections. I think the BTP ladies have a bit too much of the wrong kind of info:Jeanie Johnson was dragged kicking and screaming into this business. Jayha Leigh hates dragging her carcass to her "real" job. She jumped feet first into this one, only to find it is even more work than her real job.
These ladies speak on loops with no capitalization or punctuation. I've heard that they're on the up and up, but I would at least like publishers to use proper capitalization in their posts. Ugh.
I just checked out the submissions page. It'd be nice if there was a little less of the smug smart-assed stuff and a little more of the info authors need like what range of word counts they're looking for, whether they accept gay romance etc.
Thanks for the tip about Noble Romance! Some of my stuff is a bit too out there for most publishers, so maybe I will give those guys a try in future.
"New one every day" about sums it up. And what are they offering that's any different from what's aleady out there...except for their lack of publishing expertise?By the way, is "moongypsy" a little known synonym for "hypocrite"? WTF is up with those people?
