Queer Ink (India)

A new online store has opened to sell queer fiction in India.  Queer Ink (or "Qi") uses what has become rather tired language of identity and community, but in this case I kind of believe it.  Best of luck to them.  Hopefully ebooks are on the "to do" list.

Perhaps some of the language that is familiar to folks in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand is still new to folks in India?

I don't know much about the status of queer communities in India, actually.

The term 'Queer' is a relatively new in India and in this instance it is all about being non-mainstream and the host of issues that go with craving a life in the mainstream without being caught too much in mainstream agenda.

And yes, we at 'Qi' are looking at e-books.

Did you build this web site yourself? Please reply back as I'm trying to create my own blog and would like to learn where you got this from or just what the theme is called. Many thanks!
