The Creeping Margins of "Obscenity"

The laws in relation to depicting underage sex have been becoming increasingly restrictive, and beginning to encompass prose involving no actual people.  One recent case in Canada relates to a book called Lucky Lips by William Robin Williamson writing as Rob Elan and published by Acolyte Press.  Published in 1991 it is the basis for a prosecution for creating child pornography. One advocate sum it ups simply as: "You can't write about children under the age of 18 engaging in sexual activity."
