Thorn Birds author passes

Colleen McCullough has passed at the age of 77. She wrote multiple genres. She wrote for money.   She made fucking piles of money. She wrote well and was never precious about it. She suffered from disabilities but never tried to pass as some kind of author saint. She was so real.

Colleen McCullough absolutely rocked for her entire life from beginning to end and the world is worse off for losing her.
