Off topic post: Really, Amazon?

Amazon did not approve my review below.  It is indeed a non-complying review--but reporting the problem directly had no effect.  Apparently openly buying fraudulent reviews is fine, posting protest reviews about them is not.

1.0 out of 5 stars Paying 10 dollars for review, March 13, 2014

I saw an ad on Craiglist for this exact product offering people 10 dollars to post pre-written reviews ("you will be given a review to post"). So, take that into account when reading the other reviews.

It has nothing to do with being protest oriented. You're not allowed to post links to outside sites. Amazon's moderation is mostly automated and has no way to tell whether your review is intended to be helpful or spammy, and the humans who intervene at times aren't good judges either.

Change the link to imgur dot com slash y9vDITd and it will likely go through. I've posted a number of reviews with supporting links that way.
